KATHMANDU: District Police Office, Bhojpur, has arrested two persons with brown sugar on Friday.
The drug was recovered from two load-laden trucks and both drivers were held.
According to Arjun Kumar Adhikari, Information Officer at the District Police Office, they were arrested while they were transporting drugs by concealing them in trucks (Ko 1 Kha 6232 and Na 6 Kha 7478) at Dumsika near the district headquarters.
Police seized 2.1 grams of brown sugar and Rs 83,600 in cash from them, police said.
The truck drivers have been identified as Suman Tamang, 29, of Dhankuta Municipality and Dal Bahadur Magar, 37, of Dharmadevi Municipality-5 of Sankhuwasabha.
Both the trucks were on their way to Dharan from Bhojpur.
