Nepal sees four new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of four new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Thursday.

Of the confirmed cases, three were detected through the RT-PCR method and one through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 354 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

As many as 79 samples were tested through RT-PCR method and 275 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 622 active cases in the country as 22 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
