Ale makes self-assessment of scoring 90 percent marks in his ministerial tenure

KATHMANDU: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Ale has made a self-evaluation of him attaining 90 percent marks in the course of his Ministerial tenure.

Speaking at a press conference held at the ministry to bid farewell on Sunday, Minister Ale claimed that he had worked to bring 90 percent marks during his tenure. He added that public would also evaluate his work.

“If someone asks how much I brought? Then I would have to say I have brought 90 percent,” he said at the press meet, adding, “The rest, people will evaluate themselves.”

He said he laid more emphasis on action than processes during his tenure.

He said 263 days had passed in the ministry in a jiffy.

Ale thanked party president Madhav Kumar Nepal for allowing him to work as a minister.

Meanwhile, Ale tendered his resignation before Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal — who is to submit the resignation to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Ale also said he had become Minister three times and it was about time to get rid of the hang of being a minister.
