CAN announces Nepali team for Scotland series

KATHMANDU: Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the team for the ICC World Cup League-2 series in Scotland, and two one-day practice series in Canada.

CAN announced a 14-member squad under the captaincy of Sandeep Lamichhane.

The announced team includes Sandeep Lamichhane, Rohit Poudel, Kushal Bhurtel, Asif Sheikh, Dev Khanal, Dipendra Singh Airy, Arif Sheikh, Karan KC, Sompal Kami, Adil Ansari, Basir Ahmed, Kishore Mahato, Pawan Sharaf and Binod Bhandari.

According to CAN, a two-match T20 series between Nepal and Canada was scheduled for June 28 and June 29.

Nepal and Canada are scheduled to play a two-match ODI series on July 4 and 5.

Before the ODI series, there will be a practice match between Nepal and the Ontario Club of Canada.

The Nepali team is scheduled to arrive in Canada on June 28.
