‘We are searching alternatives to protect alliance, resolve national problem’: Prachanda

KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that they have been focusing their attention to find out solution of the national problem without breaking the ruling coalition.

At a program organised by Nepal Dalit Mukti Morcha on the occasion of Memorial Day of the first martyr of Maoist Center-led rebellion, Dil Bahadur Ramtel, and Martyrs Week, today, Chair Dahal shared that they have been searching the alternatives to save the alliance and to resolve US aid Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact problem.

He mentioned, “We are involving to save the ruling coalition formed in order to protect constitution, nationalism and republicanism.”

Saying the five-party alliance was formed determining the move of dissolving the House of Representatives going against the Constitution as regression, the CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair clarified that the ruling alliance was constituted for the protection of the constitution, nationalism and republicanism.
He further said, “We have been making efforts to ensure the rights of the people of backward community and area by formulating a common minimum program through the alliance.”

Chair Dahal stressed the need of making determination to move ahead being united to save the gained achievements and to get further achievements.
