193 Nepalis in Ukraine come into contact with Embassy

KYIV: As many as 193 Nepali nationals, who had been staying in war-torn Ukraine, have come into contact with the Nepali Embassy based in Berlin, Germany.

All those Nepalis who have come into contact with the Embassy are safe and sound, according to the Embassy.

“As many as 193 Nepalis have come into contact with the Nepali Embassy. They are safe and sound,” reads a press note issued by the Nepali Embassy in Berlin.

Earlier, the Embassy had given details of 38 Nepali people residing permanently in Ukraine and around 200 others staying in the country who were trying to move to Europe and America.

Of them, 193 have come into contact, said the Embassy.

According  to Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), around 400 Nepalis are staying in Ukraine.
