Prachanda at Shital Niwas with the support of 7 parties



KATHMANDU: Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Dahal has reached President’s Office, Shital Niwas claiming for the post of Prime Minister with the support of 7 parties.

Prachanda reached the President’s residence Shital Niwas along with CPN-UML leaders.

A meeting of CPN-UML, Maoist Center, Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Janata Samajwadi Party, and Nagarik Unmukti Party agreed to make Prachanda the Prime Minister.

Prachanda has the support of 166 MPs in the House of Representatives. It needs 138 parliamentarians to form a majority government.
