EC to discuss election code of conduct with parties today



KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) is discussing the code of conduct with the political parties today.

The EC has called party leaders to the EC for discussion on Sunday.

The Commission has invited the parties participating in the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly elections to be held on November 20 to discuss the code of conduct.

The EC is discussing with the parties for the effective implementation of the code of conduct.

Leaders of 12 political parties, including the prime minister and home minister, have been called for discussion.

The Commission also discussed the code of conduct with the parties during the local level elections last June.
