Kathmandu Mayor Balen in action to dismantle illegal structures in New Baneswor



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has continued to dismantle the structures built illegally in Kathmandu.

On Thursday morning, a team including KMC Mayor Balen Shah, Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Chief Meera Chaudhary reached the New Baneswor area to dismantle the structures built without permission.

KMC has instructed the concerned businesspeople to vacate the underground structure made for parking as it is being rented out for the commercial purpose.

A team including the mayor reached the places where the unauthorized structures have been built.

Mayor Shah also discussed the issue with the people’s representatives of the Kathmandu-10 ward office before dismantling the illegal structures.
