People understand importance of life through spiritual thinking: Dr Arzu Rana



DHANGADHI: Nepali Congress central member Dr Arju Rana Deuba has said that people understand the importance of their life after pursuing spiritual life.

“Spirituality helps people to dispel their negative thoughts. Societal reforms are possible only when people have positive thoughts,” said the leader while addressing an event organized here on Wednesday to welcome peace march participants.

Stating that many big changes in the society and various difficult problems and wars were resolved only through positive thoughts, she said, “Spiritual contemplation and practice helps people cut through difficulties in their life.”

Messages, sermons and mantras of Dr Manibhadra Muniji Maharaj, founder of Jain Saint Nepal, have a great impact on the lives of people, she said.

On the occasion, Dr Maharaj said that people should try to calm themselves through spiritual contemplation and meditation.
Similarly, other speakers former lawmaker Shankar Pandey and Dhangadhi Sub Metropolis Mayor Nrip Bahadur Bada shed light on the importance of spirituality and talked about Dr Maharaj.

Started from Mechi region, Dr Maharaj and Biraj Muniji Maharaj on a peace march reached Dhangadhi through Pokhara. Both of them are scheduled to reach India through the Gaddachauki transit of Kanchanpur district. Their peace march aims to spread message of peace and non-violence.
