NMA starting call center for COVID19 consultation from Tuesday



KATHMANDU: Nepal Medical Association (NMA) is set to operate a COVID19 call center from Tuesday.

NMA, America-Nepal Medical Foundation and Nepal Telecom are jointly bringing the call center into operation through the number 1156 to assist the public deal with the third wave of COVID-19.

The public can dial the call center number 1156 to seek advice for Covid-19-related health problems. The call center will be open from 8 am to 8 pm, NMA said.

“As the third wave of Covid 19 is gaining momentum, We would like to appeal the public to contact NMA’s call center number 1156 and seek necessary advice for any health-related problem,” said a statement issued by NMA Monday.
