Two held with narcotic drugs



SURKHET: District Police Office, Surkhet has arrested two individuals with narcotic drugs from the district.

According to DPO, Surkhet, Sunil Khatri, 27, the proprietor of SK Mobile Repairing Center based at Birendra municipality-6, was taken under control on the charge of transacting brown sugar.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of police raided the mobile repairing center and seized 140 grams of brown sugar on Sunday, informed DSP Ram Prasad Gharti, the spokesperson of the DPO, Surkhet.

Similarly, police also arrested Deepak Budhathoki, 26, with illegal drugs from Birendranagar municipality-8, Kuinepani jungle yesterday.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking Khatri and Budhathoki into police custody.
