Truck-hit kills toddler in Bhaktapur



KATHMANDU: A 17-month-old child has died after a truck hit him in Bhaktapur on Friday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Salin Shrestha of Sindhupalchok, currently residing on Manohara River bank.

Seriously injured following the truck hit, the toddler died in course of treatment at Summit Hospital, Lokanthali.

The toddler was playing on the side of the road when he was hit by a truck bearing number Ba 5 B 7817 at 9:00 am Friday.

Police Circle Thimi, Bhaktapur, has arrested the driver and impounded the truck.
