17 SSPs recommended for promotion



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs has made public the list of recommendations for the promotion of the Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) to the post of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG).

A meeting of the promotion committee has decided to recommend 17 SSPs for promotion to DIG.

SSP Basanta Bahadur Kunwar of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office is at the forefront of the promotion recommendation.

Likewise, SSP Tek Prasad Rai working in the Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau is in the second position.
