NC wins PA seat in Rasuwa-1

RASUWA: Nepali Congress candidate Prabhat Tamang has won the election to the Province Assembly (PA) member from Rasuwa district PA electoral constituency-1.

Tamang secured 8,186 votes and his closest competitor CPN (UML)’s Kul Prasad Bhatta has bagged 4,772 votes, Election Officer Ram Chandra Poudel said.

There were eight candidates including a woman in the election race. The woman was contesting as an independent.

Thirteen thousand 655 votes were cast in the election in this constituency and 368 votes were invalid.
