5 killed in road accident, 13 injured in East Rukum



East Rukum: Five people have died in a road accident involving a passenger bus in Kyangsi Bagar of Bhume rural municipality-3, Rukum East today (Thursday).

Five passengers died on the spot when the bus (G1K 9109) heading towards Rukumkot from Kathmandu met with an accident, Deputy Superintendent of Police of District Police Office Rukum East, Prakash Dangi, said.

Thirteen others were injured.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

Of the injured, three are reported to be in serious condition.

The injured are undergoing treatment at Rukumpur hospital.
