Prachanda and Madhav Nepal hold discussion on party unity



KATHMANDU: Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Unified Socialist Party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal held a discussion on party unity.

During the meeting held at a house in Hattiban on Monday morning, the two leaders discussed in length the issue of unity between the two parties.

Likewise, Prachanda and Nepal also discussed issues, including the coordination committee and election manifesto.

Narayankaji Shrestha, senior vice president of the Maoist Center, was also present on the occasion, sources said.

Likewise, the two leaders also discussed the possibility of bringing Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and Bamdev Gautam on board.

The Maoist Center has already given its consent to Dr. Bhattarai and Gautam to contest the elections on their election symbol.

However, the Maoist Center said that some of the conditions they have put are yet to be discussed.
