Top leaders of ruling coalition discuss govt policies and programs



KATHMANDU:  The top leaders of the ruling coalition met at Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s official residence in Baluwatar on Sunday.

According to Nepali Congress (NC) leader Purna Bahadur Khadka, the top leaders of the major parties discussed the policy and program to be presented on behalf of the government on May 24.

“The leaders discussed about the issues that should be included in the policies and programs of the government,” NC leader Khadka said.

Earlier the coalition leaders had met at Baluwatar to review the preliminary results of the local election. The parties in the ruling coalition NC, CPN-Maoist Center, CPN-Unified Socialist, Janata Samajbadi Party and Rastriya Janamorcha formed the electoral alliance on May 13 elections.
