BIRGUNJ: Rajeshman Singh, the mayoral candidate from the five-party alliance in Birgunj, is ahead of the UML candidate Vijay Kumar Sarawgi by 15,895 votes.

Rajeshman Singh of Janata Samajbadi Party has got 33 thousand 315 votes so far.

UML mayoral candidate Sarawagi has received 17,420 votes.

Similarly, RPP mayoral candidate Girish Giri has received 2,359 votes.

Similarly, Imtiaz Alam of Nepali Congress has got 22 thousand 813 votes for the post of deputy mayor followed by Loktantrik Samjbadi Party Candidate Purushottam Jha 5,549 votes.
