Nepal gets a target of 176 runs against UAE to reach T20 Cricket World Cup 2022

KATHMANDU: Nepal has got a target of 176 runs against UAE to be selected in the T20 World Cup Cricket Tournament to be held in October in Australia.

In the semi-final match of the ongoing global qualifiers in Oman, UAE presented a challenge of 176 runs to Nepal on Tuesday afternoon.

Mohammad Wasim of UAE scored 70 runs and Vritya Arvind scored 46 runs.

Nepal’s Jitendra Mukhiya and Avinash Bohara took 3 wickets each when captain Sandeep Lamichhane took 1.

Nepal reached the semi-finals as the group winner while UAE is the runner-up in the other group.

The team that wins today’s game will be selected for the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia.
