Two COVID-infected patients die in Dharan

DHARAN: Two COVID-19 infected people have died in the course of treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.

Hospital administration has informed that two people infected with COVID-19 died in the course of treatment on Friday. Both of them are from Siraha.

The deceased are an 80-year-old man and 66-year-old woman of Siraha district, said Dr Chudamani Pokharel, the joint spokesperson of the Institute.

Both the deceased had been suffering from chronic ailments including high blood pressure and diabetes, according to the doctors involved in their treatment.
