Nepal wins the final match against Uganda



KATHMANDU: The Nepali women’s national team has won the fifth and final T20 cricket match against Uganda on Saturday.

In the five day series Nepal defeated Uganda by 33 runs today.

Following the target of 124 runs given by Nepal, Uganda lost 6 wickets in 20 overs and managed to score only 90 runs.

Rita Musamali was the top scorer for Uganda with 26 runs. On the bowling side, Sita Ranamagar and Indu Burma of Nepal took 2/2 wickets each while Asmina Karmacharya and Hiranmayi Roy took one wicket each.

Earlier, Nepal lost 6 wickets in 20 overs and scored 123 runs.

Jyoti Pandey was the top scorer for Nepal with 49 runs. Uganda has already won the series. Uganda won the first, second and third games.

Nepal had defeated Uganda by 15 runs in the fourth match played yesterday.
