Valley-based museums to remain shut from Saturday midnight



KATHMANDU: All the museums are set to be closed in the Kathmandu Valley from Saturday in view of the increasing cases of COVID-19 including the new variant Omicron.

A meeting of the Chief District Officers of the Valley held on Thursday took a decision to this effect after the cases of COVID-19 spiked in an alarming rate.

According to the decision, all the museums located in the Kathmandu Valley will remain closed from Saturday midnight.

There are Hanumandhoka Durbar Museum, National Museum, Currency Museum, Narayanhiti Durbar Museum, Bhaktapur and Patarn Dubar Museum are operational in the Kathmandu Valley.
