One succumb to coronavirus in Birgunj

BIRGUNJ: A person has succumbed to coronavirus at the Narayani Hospital in Birgunj.

A 50-year-old man from Mahagadhimai Municipality-6, Bara, who was undergoing treatment at Narayani Hospital, has died last night.

According to the hospital, he had not been vaccinated against coronavirus and had been diagnosed with pneumonia.

This is the first death in Birgunj since the start of the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
