Don’t exaggerate Apoorva Kshitiz case, don’t go to extremes: Rabindra Mishra

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leader Rabindra Mishra has urged all not to exaggerate the comedian Apoorva Kshitiz Singh’s case.

Commenting on the accusations made against the stand up comedian Singh, Mishra remarked on Thursday that everyone should do their best to enhance harmony in the country.

He commented that the allegations against Singh and the voices against the issue that had been a part of the show reflects the weakening harmony in the society.

“A vivid example of how harmony is weakening is the response that came against the ‘standup comedian’ Apoorva Kshitiz,” Mishra said, adding, “Those who spread racial hatred and break harmony have walked proudly as leaders. Apoorva Kshitiz apologized. Comedy has been removed from YouTube.”

He has asked all not to exaggerate the issue much as extremism might further aggravate the situation.
