NC leader Pradeep Giri’s health condition critical



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Pradeep Giri’s health condition has become critical.

According to family sources, leader Giri, who is undergoing treatment at Medicity Hospital in Lalitpur due to severe pneumonia, is in serious condition.

Although Giri was put on a ventilator on Thursday, he was taken out of the ventilator on Friday at the request of the family.

He was brought to Nepal some time ago after his health did not improve satisfactorily after undergoing tests and treatment at the hospital there.

Giri had been taken to Mumbai, India in July last year after suffering from throat problems.

Giri is receiving treatment for multiple complications including pneumonia.
