All services except emergency, maternity closed at Madhyabindu District Hospital



KAWASOTI: All the services except emergency and maternity have been closed at Madhyabindu District Hospital of (Bardaghat Susta East) in Nawalparasi district.

All the services except emergency and maternity have been closed for five days after doctors and staffers of the District Hospital tested positive for coronavirus, said Information officer of the Hospital, Chhabi Lal Subedi.

The hospital has closed all the services for five days from today while emergency, maternity, pharmacy and emergency lab would remain open, he added.

Subedi shared, “We are compelled to close the services for few days in lack of health workers and staffs as coronavirus was confirmed on some health workers and staffs.”

A total of 23 health workers and staffs have tested positive for coronavirus at the District Hospital so far. Coronavirus was confirmed on 11 health workers and staffs on Wednesday alone.
