Bhaktapur administration issues 27-point order against coronavirus outbreak



BHAKTAPUR: The Bhaktapur District Administration Office has issued a 27-point order, effective from today, for the prevention of coronavirus infection.

Bhaktapur Chief District Office Rudra Devi Sharma issued the order.

Actions would be taken against the institutions and individuals breaching and not adhering the order as per the Infectious Disease Act, 2020.

Among the points included in the order are prohibition of public assembly and gathering, permission to conduct only routine prayers at temples and religious sites by coming February 12 (end of Magh), not to run educational institutions face-to-face by January 29 and conduct teaching and learning activities by adopting virtual or other alternative learning methods.

Likewise, the service seekers are required to show vaccination card with full dose of inoculation to receive service from public agencies from January 21. More than 25 people are not allowed to enter shopping malls and should maintain physical distance, the order stated.

The DAO also asked the people to fully follow the health safety protocol. Cinema hall, dance bar, recreation centers (dance club and dohori), health club, gym house, swimming pool and futsal grounds will remain closed up to January 29, reads the order.
