24 people at SC, including Judge Khadka and Chief Registrar test positive for coronavirus

KATHMANDU: Twenty-four people, including Supreme Court Justice Mira Khadka and Chief Registrar Lal Bahadur Kunwar, have tested positive for coronavirus.

According to Supreme Court Spokesperson Baburam Dahal, services, including registration of writ petition, verification, etc., at the SC has been affected as 24 people have tested positive.

Thirty employees were tested on Sunday alone on suspicion of having coronavirus.

Likewise, various senior advocates and lawyers have also tested positive for coronavirus.

Senior advocates Harihar Dahal and Krishna Prasad Bhandari, advocates Sabita Bhandari, Bhimsen Banjara, Rajeshwar Adhikari and more than 20 others have been confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus.
