Ruling alliance government to continue after election: Prachanda

TAPLEJUNG: Chairperson of the Maoist Centre and former prime minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the only target of the left-democratic alliance is development and prosperity.

Chairperson Dahal said it while addressing an election assembly organized by the alliance at Phungling on Wednesday.

The election alliance was formed for durable peace and sustainable development, he added.

“There is a nationwide election wave for the left-democratic alliance. This alliance itself will form the government after the election,” Dahal asserted.

According to him, although the political movements and announcements were made galore, the holistic development remained elusive for various reasons. Now onwards, the alliance will look after it, Dahal reminded.

The Chairperson further said the November 20 election is the one to defeat the regressive forces and take ahead the country in right direction.

Meanwhile, Nepali Congress Spokesperson, Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat, viewed the alliance is imperative for the holistic development of the country.

Development of the country and protection of constitution are alliance’s major goals, he said, adding that stability in the country is equally necessary. He also asserted that the alliance would continue for long.
