Province 1 has 1,397 active Covid cases



BIRATNAGAR: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 320 people in the last 24 hours in Province 1, the Ministry of Social Development has said.

According to the Ministry, 129 people have been infected in Morang, 111 in Sunsari, 19 in Jhapa, three in Dhankuta, and 10 from outside the Province.

In the Morang district, as many as 113 people have been infected in Biratnagar, eight in Budhiganga, two in Rangeli and Sundaraharaincha, and one each in Gramthan, Urlabari, Katahari and Patharishanishchhare.

Likewise, five people have been infected in Bhadrapur of Jhapa, three in Birtamod, two in Mechinagar, one each in Buddhashanti, Arjundhara, Bahardashi, Damak, Gauradaha, Jhapa village municipality and one in Nakhuleka.

According to the Ministry, the Province has as many as 1,397 active cases.
