Maoist Chairman Prachanda leaving for India today



KATHMANDU: Chairman of the ruling Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” is flying to India today.

Sources said that Prachanda is visiting India for a political meeting at the invitation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

According to sources, arrangements are being made for Prachanda’s meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

However, both sides have not formally announced the visit.

Meanwhile, Nepali Congress lawmaker and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s spouse Dr. Arju Rana Deuba is currently in New Delhi.

He is scheduled to return home on July 17.
