Unified Socialist’s SC meeting to continue even today

To formulate its future strategy



KATHMANDU: The Standing Committee (SC) meeting of the CPN-Unified Socialist will be held today as well.

The SC meeting held at the party’s headquarters at Aloknagar, Minbhawan, Kathmandu, on Tuesday had reviewed the report of the local level election.

According to Publicity Department Chief Jagannath Khatiwada, the Central Secretariat presented the election review report at the SC meeting on Tuesday.

Provincial in-charges and chairpersons expressed their views on the report on Tuesday.

Khatiwada added that discussions would continue today as well and the party would formulate its future strategy.

The party, which is also a ruling coalition partner in the Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba-led government, has been expressing its disenchantment over the results of the local-level elections held on May 13 this year.
