Balen Shah continues the lead as Singh closes gap with Sthapit



KATHMANDU: Independent candidate for mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Balen Shah is racing away from Keshav Sthapit of CPN-UML even as Sirjana Singh of Nepali Congress (NC) tries to bridge the gap with Sthapit.

Shah has secured 3,110 votes as per the latest update. Sthapit is second with 1,643 votes followed by Singh at 1,602.

Votes of ward numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 31 and 32 are currently being counted.
