Bharatpur’s mayoral candidate Renu retains her leading position



CHITWAN: Bharatpur’s mayoral candidate Renu Dahal has retained the lead after defeating his rival Bijay Subedi by 80 votes.

According to the latest information provided by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Renu has got 1,727 votes out of 4,877 votes counted so far.

Bijay is following Renu with 1,647 votes.

Likewise, Nepali Congress rebel candidate Jagannath Poudel has got 579 votes.
