Police nab four accused of Arjun Das murder case



KAILALI: The Police have arrested four persons who were absconding after killing a youth in a forest in Kailali.

According to Metropolitan Crime Division, Teku, police arrested four fugitives on the charge of killing 25-year-old Arjun Das, who was found dead inside a community forest at Janaki Gaonpalika-9, Amaravati.

Among the arrested are 19-year-old youths Sumit Saud, Manoj Bhandari, Dilip Das and Bam Bahadur Bohara.

The arrested had allegedly killed Arjun accusing the latter of mobile theft.

A special investigation team deployed by the branch on the basis of confidential information from Rupandehi border arrested them on Thursday.

They have been sent to Kailali District Police Office for further investigation.

Arjun, who had gone out on December 17 had not returned till late in the evening. A young woman who had been out to cut grass in the forest had found his dead body on December 18 and informed the police.
