Inebriated hubby kills wife in Morang

MORANG: A man has beaten his wife to death in Jahada rural municipality-7 in the Morang district.

According to District Police Office, Morang, a 33-year-old Narayan Soren of Jahada-7 beat his wife Pano Tudu, 32, under the influence of alcohol on April 2, informed DSP Dipak Shrestha.

Critically injured Pano, who was taken to Koshi Zonal Hospital, Biratnagar, died in the course of treatment at 11 pm on Thursday, said, Shrestha.

The assailant Narayan is at large. Police said they have launched a manhunt for the murder accused and are investigating the case.
