Son kills father in cold blood



MORANG: A man has killed his father ruthlessly in the Morang district.

According to District Police Office, Morang, 31-year-old  Basudev Karki murdered his 62-year-old father, Jaya Bahadur Karki, over a property dispute at Kafle Tole in Belbari municipality-7 on Thursday.

The dispute escalated after Jaya Bahadur sold a piece of his land to his daughter.

In a fit of rage, Basudev threw his father on the slab of stone when the latter went to settle the dispute between Basudev and his younger brother Tirtha Raj, another son of Jaya Bahadur, according to police.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking Basudev under control.
