UAE gives Nepal a target of 264 runs



KATHMANDU: In the first match of the three-match ODI series, UAE has set Nepal a target of 264 runs.

After losing the toss and batting first at TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, UAE made 263 runs by losing 7 wickets in the scheduled 50 overs.

Rohan Mustafa top scored with 53 runs for UAE while openers Muhammad Wasim scored 40 runs and Vryaya Arvind scored 40 runs.

They shared a partnership of 75 runs for the first wicket. Similarly, Alisan Sarfu scored 29 runs while Ayaan Afzal Khan scored 26 runs. Likewise, Ahmed Raza scored 27 runs while Basid Hamid was dismissed for 14 runs.

While Gulsan Jha took 2 wickets for Nepal, Sompal Kami and Dipendra Singh Airi took 1 wicket each.
