House of Representatives meeting taking place

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is being held today.

The meeting will be held at 11 am at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwar.

Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has a possible agenda to present a proposal that ‘Insurance Bill, 2075 should be discussed with the report of the Finance Committee’.

Finance Minister Sharma himself presented a proposal that ‘Insurance Bill, 2079 should be passed’, ‘Public Debt Management Bill, 2076 should be discussed with the report of the Finance Committee’, and proposed a proposal that ‘Public Debt Management Bill, 2079 should be passed’.

Likewise, it has also been mentioned that the sections of the “Kathmandu Valley Public Transport (Management) Authority Bill, 2076” with the message of the National Assembly will be presented for decision.

In the meeting, the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supply, Dilendra Prasad Badu, will present a proposal with the message of the National Assembly that the above “Standard Measures and Weights (Fifth Amendment) Bill, 2078 should be debated in the House”.
