NEPSE declines by 36.07 points Tuesday



KATHMANDU: The downward trend of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) continued even on Tuesday. NEPSE declined by 36.07 points to 1996.26 today.

The share market turnover got confined to Rs. 1.18 billion. A total of 41,47,255 shares of 232 companies were traded through 31,806 transactions on this day.

In Tuesday’s double-digit decline, all subgroups remained in the red. Investors in the non-life insurance, finance, and development bank groups lost the most.

The share value of Andhikhola MFI rose the most by 8.18 percent to Rs 448.40 on Tuesday. Shares of NMB rose 4.10 percent, while Mountain Hydro rose 3.72 percent today.

Himalayan Power Partner’s price declined by 9.99 percent on Tuesday. It is priced at Rs 344.30. Balefi Hydro fell 8.15 percent to Rs 274.
