BIRATNAGAR: Nepali Congress (NC) has taken the initial lead in Biratnagar Metropolitan City.

Mayoral candidate Nagesh Koirala has taken the initial lead with 25 votes.

CPN-UML’s Sagar Kumar Thapa is following him with 11 votes. Similarly, Umesh Kumar Yadav got 3 votes.
