Maoist Center makes clean sweep at Salyan’s Kumakh-1



KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center)’s candidate  Dilli Rana has emerged victorious in Kumakh rural municipality-1 of Salyan district. He defeated the Congress-UML alliance candidate and won with 608 votes.

Maoist Center made a clean sweep in the ward of Man Bahadur Budhathoki, the candidate for the post of chairman of rural municipality from the NC-UML alliance.

Rana’s rival NC candidate Prem Bahadur Budhathoki got 480 votes from the Congress-UML alliance.

Similarly, the Maoist Center candidate has also won in the women’s ward members, Dalit women’s ward members and two open members.
