UML General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel tests positive for coronavirus

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel has tested positive for coronavirus.

According to Pokhrel, he is currently in isolation and has postponed all scheduled events.

Meanwhile, CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is also in isolation after he was diagnosed with coronavirus on January 8.

Prachanda’s health is normal and he is resting at his residence in Khumaltar, Kathmandu, his secretariat said.

Earlier, another leader of the party Narayan Kaji Shrestha was also infected with coronavirus.
