Five including two DSPs injured in road mishap



RUKUM: Five police personnel including two Deputy Superintendent of Police were injured when a vehicle of the Nepal Police met with an accident in Rukum (East) on Saturday.

The injured are Deputy Superintendent of Police of the Nepal Police, Prakash Dangi, and Deputy Superintendent of Police of Armed Police Force, Rabindra Shrestha and other security personnel.

The accident took place when the vehicle fell some 100 meters off the road at Putha Uttarganga rural municipality-11 when it was heading towards Taksera of Putha Uttarganga rural municipality from Rukumkot, said Spokesperson of the rural municipality and chairperson of ward no 5, Tikasai Gharti.

A team of police has headed towards the incident site, shared Information Officer at the District Police Office, Police Inspector Krishna Khatri.
