‘Nepal-India relations needs to be focused on economic prosperity’



KATHMANDU: Deputy Speaker Pushpa Bhusal said the traditional relations persisting between Nepal and India should be tapped for advancing economic prosperity.

She emphasized that the persisting social, cultural and diplomatic relations should be expanded for economic and infrastructural development.

Indian parliamentarian and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Sanjaya Jayaswal said the Nepal-India relations should be further strong and cordial in coming days.

Also speaking on the occasion, Minister for Drinking Water and Energy Development Om Prakash Sharma, former Minister Ajaya Chaurasiya and Birgunj metropolis mayor Rajeshman Singh, among others had highlighted different dimensions of Nepal-India relations.
