Voting hours for local level polls over

KATHMANDU: Voting hours fixed by the Election Commission (EC) for the local level election have expired.

The EC had fixed the polling time from 7 am to 5 pm today.

Polling stations are now closed, however, voters getting inside any polling station before 5 pm will be able to cast their votes.

A line of voters is still seen outside Ratna Rajya High School in mid-Baneshwor, Kathmandu, even after the voting time is over. Polling at the nearby Valley View School center has ended.

Voting is also completed at Vijay Smarak Secondary School in Dilli Bazaar.
