Elderly dies after casting his ballot



KATHMANDU: An elderly man has died while he was returning home after casting his ballot in Baitadi.

The deceased has been identified as 84-year-old Hari Singh Bhat of Dogdakedar rural municipality-3, said Police Inspector Deepak Bista.

Bhat collapsed as soon as he came out of the polling center based in Sanatan Dharma Secondary School in Khochlekh.

Bhat passed away while being rushed to the hospital.
