Polling officials injured as party cadres attack each other in Humla



HUMLA: Polling officials have been injured after representatives of two candidates clashed with each other at a polling station in Humla.

The incident occurred at Mahadev Higher Secondary School polling station of Chankheli rural municipality-2.

Two other employees also sustained injuries in the skirmishes between the ruling coalition party cadres and the representatives of independent candidate Pyarilal Shahi.

Police have opened fire in the air after the clash escalated.

Even though the situation is under control, voting has not resumed yet.
