IPL: Mumbai beat Chennai by five wickets



KATHMANDU: Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by five wickets in the match played under the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Thursday night.

Invited to bat firsts first after losing the toss at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Chennai were bowled out for 97 in 16 overs.

Chasing the target of 98-run target set by Chennai, Mumbai reached the target in 14.5 overs losing five wickets.

Even if Mumbai win, there is no possibility of reaching the play-offs, while the loser Chennai is already out of the play-offs.

In the current season, Mumbai and Chennai are at the bottom of the points table
